I was part of a group of moms who organized a mock election today at the girls' school. The students didn't vote for President but instead voted to have either Pajama Day or Crazy Hair Day.
They each received a Voter ID Card, came to the Polling Place with their class, checked in with an Election Judge, were given a ballot, voted and then received a sticker and a patriotic pencil.
The kids loved it and hopefully learned a little something about the electoral process.
Pajama Day won by a landslide.
If only all elections were so easy.
Kenna has on the turquoise sweater and Michal is standing on her tippy toes to reach the voting booth.
