The girls and I went to the Corn Festival today. It was held at Graue Mill, which was once a working mill and was also was a stop on the Underground Railroad. The original mill, water wheel and miller's home are all still there and are now a museum.
It was a sweet, old-fashioned celebration. The girls played along with the musicians.
They also got to use the fire department's hose to put out a pretend fire.
It was a fun afternoon.
I love small town activities like these! How fun.
