Friday Finds {Privet House at Target}

Target is at it again.

On May 6 they debuted The Shops at Target featuring curated items from five boutiques: Aspen’s Cos Bar, Boston’s Polka Dog Bakery, sweets from San Francisco’s The Candy Store , men’s and women’s clothing from Miami Beach’s The Webster and finally home goods from Connecticut-based Privet House.

I think it's a really clever idea.

I headed to Target yesterday and I really, really liked a number of the things from the Privet House.

The collection includes everything from pouf-style rope ottomans to charming white-washed wicker baskets and rustic wine totes made of a burlap-like material.

I love all of the melamine dinnerware, serving pieces, napkins and placemats.  It looks very, very Kate Spade at a much better price.

Privet House at Target Round Trays, $19.99 each; Privet House at Target Large Wicker Glass, $5.99; and Privet House at Target Small Wicker Glass, $5.49. All available at Target stores and

Have you visited the new Shops at Target?

  1. Free shipping on with $50 purchase on the Shops (at least for Privet House). Ordered on Sunday, already received Tuesday. Love the baskets - not so much on the botanical prints.

    I agree - brilliant idea!

  2. Oh I had heard about this and then forgot! How have they rolled out the shops - are there little boutiquey areas in each Target? And clearly I have not been to Target enough lately although (ahem) my red card bill indicates otherwise.
