Just another day in paradise.

We spent the morning at the pool and then the girls went to Sanibel Sea School this afternoon.  It's an amazing program at our resort, run by a non-profit group that's dedicated to marine ecosystem education.  The program today was on manatees.

After swimming in one of the smaller pools, we went to Sanibel for ice cream at Pinocchio's and dinner at the Island Cow -- and yes, in that order!

Another wonderful manatee-finding, pool-trick-doing, dessert-before-dinner day.

The first photo is absolutely exquisite.

How does this resort compare to the one you went to last year in FL?

    1. Thank you for your sweet comment on the photo.

We went to Long Boat Key two years ago and it was wonderful. (Last year Eric was in Argentina so the girls and I went to California.) I really liked where we stayed on Long Boat Key but this resort was much, much larger and had a lot more activities. Kenna and Michal loved the pools and slides and the other kid activities. Where we stayed in Long Boat Key didn't have any of that.
