On the sixth day of Christmas . . .

Dolls

I love these dolls.

They remind me of American Girl dolls in a more cosmopolitan package. Karito Kids by Kids Give dolls are five, 11-year-old girls each from a different country. The dolls are realistically proportioned and are recommended for ages 6 & up. They are beautifully-made and come with a book too.

Kids Give believes that “children around the world are fundamentally the same and that, given the chance, they want to help each other.” Not only can your children play with these dolls and learn and read about their cultures, but a percentage of all purchases go to Plan USA. All you and your child need to do is enter the code given on all Kids Give products and pick which charitable cause you would like the money to be sent.

And you have the chance to win one of these beautiful dolls! You may choose from several different ones.

This is a giveaway from me. To enter, just leave a comment. And if you're a follower, or become one, you are welcome to enter this or any giveaway of your choosing two times.

This giveaway is closed. Congratulations to Desiree!

  5. Well, this is just the sweetest giveaway ever...and what a wonderful way to foster compassion in children!

Also, on a personal level, thank you for featuring dolls that are races in addition to Caucasian. As a grandparent of a biracial beauty, "Thank you!!"

  29. Wonderful dolls. As the mother of 3 adopted children (domestic, from foster care), we tend to encourage out daughter to "adopt" her dolls. This leads to researching backgrounds and cultures; a great experience. After looking at Karito's website, my daughter said "Karito Kids dolls rock!"

  35. Daughter #1 has the Karito doll from China and it is THE ONLY doll she will play with. She was given two American girl Asian dolls as gifts and she refused them both, saying they looked nothing like her! Those dolls went to charitable auctions but not the Karito doll. I absolutely adore these dolls and recommend them to everyone. We even have the soft bodied versions too. I love that they have dolls from diff cultures and hope they'll add additional dolls in the future. What a great giveaway!
