On the eleventh day of Christmas . . .
These last three giveaways are especially fun for me because all three of the people generously providing a prize are real-life friends of mine -- stylish, talented, amazing friends. I already told you about Kate who owns Kie&Kate -- you can still enter her giveaway by the way -- and today I'm going to tell you about Michelle. Michelle is the one pictured holding the snowman bottles of hot chocolate at the girls' gingerbread party. She just happens to be a fabulously-talented seamstress who just opened an etsy shop called My Modern Whimsy.
She made the absolutely precious flag buntings for the gingerbread party. They are so cute and really made the party look festive. I haven't asked her yet but I'm hoping she'll make buntings for the girls' playroom too.
And she's going to give one of you two, 12-foot long custom flag buntings in the color combination of your choice! Each cotton flag is pinked around the edges, and is eight inches long. Eighteen flags will adorn each 12 foot long bunting with approximately 8 inches for hanging on each end! You can choose two made out of the same combination of fabrics or two made out of entirely different fabrics. These are so cute for both boys and girls in a bedroom, a playroom or at a party. And they're not just for kids. They'd be darling at a baby shower or at a grown up birthday party too.
This giveaway is closed. Congratulations Susan!

I do a big animal fund raising event each August to raise money for two organizations (for abused, neglected, injured, or abandoned dogs) and the flag bunting would be used at the event by the registration tables and would be perfect!

I would use the buntings in our soon-to-be playroom. The poor playroom currently has piles of stuff stacked everywhere. It's been that way for 18 months (after I cleared my home office out). It's one of my new year's resolutions to actually get it put together in January. No more procrastinating or the kids will already be in college and won't need a playroom! Maybe the buntings will inspire me to get moving on it.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have some happy bunting to use at birthday party time. With four kids, it will get lots of use.
ReplyDeleteI'd hang them in my daughter's room! The room that is PINK and RED to match a Valentine's Day bag she brought home from a certain V Day party a couple years ago.... : )

They're all great. I really like the Christmas and gingerbread bunting. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteOH! I SO would love to win this! My 5 year old specifically ASKED for this for his room...but it didn't make it under the tree this year. This would be awesome to get for him!
ReplyDeleteI would hangmine in my girls rooms! Very cute!
ReplyDeleteI would love them for either of my daughters bedrooms! My oldest is five and she would love them! They would be great for birthday parties too!
ReplyDeleteI would use buntings for my son's nursery. I've been thinking of trying to make some, but I'm a wreck with the sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteI've shown my husband your gingerbread party post at least a dozen times now. I've already vowed to host next year, for my son! So, I'd get some festive Christmas themed ones and keep them up until after the New Year! It's never too early to start planning a party! :)
ReplyDeleteI would hang one or two of these in the girls bedroom...the pink, turquoise and yellow would look amazing in there. How cute are these?
ReplyDeleteOH MY!!! Probably every year for Gotcha Day for Annika.
ReplyDeleteI would use one for Christmas decorating and one for birthdays! I have noticed in your photos that the banners add a lot to the look of the party. Plus, they look easy to store too. Thank you for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I own a family child care center in my home and these would make an adorable and cheery addition to that space. I also visit your blog quite often as I too, have a daughter from China. However, I just became an official 'follower' today! Thanks for the opportunity :)
ReplyDeleteI would use one bunting for a birthday banner, and the second...I am not sure, but I will think of something!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently planning my daughter's 7th birthday "spa" party at Bath Junkie. I'd use the buntings to decorate the food & gift tables in her favorite colors of turquoise & purple. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable!!!! I think I would use them in our playroom too. I could use some color.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the buntings! I've been holding off on doing my girls' room ... needing the perfect inspiration piece. I'd definitely use the buntings as the jumping off point for putting the bedroom they share together once and for all.
ReplyDeletedefinetely as a birthday banner.....year round on my room (words from my soon to be 6 years old)
ReplyDeleteHow cute!
ReplyDeleteWe are in the midst of fixing up our bonus room as the kids' playroom, and the buntings would really spruce it up!!!! I am using orange and turquoise - with some green and yellow thrown in, just think of the fabric choices! So cute...
ReplyDeleteI would use the bunting for my sons' playroom and birthday parties. I checked out her etsy site and I liked both patterns of bunting
ReplyDeleteI love to have them to use for my girls birthday parties!
ReplyDeleteI would use the buntings in my daughter's playroom. They would add a very whimsical touch!

I would give these to each pair of my twin grands to hang in their playrooms for a fun touch. Or they might want to hang them elsewhere...but, they would love having these, for sure! Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the buntings! I would either choose one to have for birthday parties or have one for my daughters room. So cute! Keeping my fingers crossed for this one!!!

I would love to hang these in our playroom-would add such a nice touch to the space!
ReplyDeleteI love bunting! I am already thinkging about one for Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteI loved the buntings... wondered if you made them or where you got them. Would love to win this!
ReplyDeleteI would hang them from tree to tree during my backyard parties.
ReplyDeleteKristi,
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering if you were able to secure them to your ceiling with just tape?
They look beautiful in your room!
If we won, I would decorate Kerri's bedroom with the buntings, in her favorite colors of pink and purple. :o)
ReplyDeleteEric put them up with a small tacking nail but I think the best way to put them up would be to use a small Command Adhesive hook and tie them to that hook. Those hooks come off easily without leaving any sort of mark on your wall or ceiing. They also come in white and clear.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute buntings. I'd probably do two different ones. One for the holidays and one for my daughters room. Something playful to go with her new bedroom sheets that santa is bringing.
ReplyDeleteOh, my! Such a decision. . . if it was possible. . . I think we'd like an Asian themed bunting to use when we celebrate Chinese New Year and other times of the year. But a birthday one to use celebration after celebration would be fun too.
ReplyDeleteLove that idea of an Asian bunting for Chinese New Year. My granddaughters are beginning to embrace their Chinese culture. Have a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely for the playroom.
ReplyDeleteI would use one for my daughters bedroom , and the other for photos and the playroom !! LOVE them
