Do you "Boo?"
Have you heard of "Booing" your neighbors? I think it's such a fun Halloween tradition.
There are some variations on how people do it, but the basics are the same. You put together a goodie basket of Halloween treats for a neighbor, leave it anonymously on their door step, ring the door bell and run. They in turn do the same thing for another neighbor.
In the basket you include a "We've Been Booed" sign for your neighbors to put in their window and a sheet with directions on how they in turn "Boo" the next person. You can get free, cute printables -- like the ones above -- to include in the basket.
The girls and I are going to start putting together our basket for our neighbors tomorrow. And yes, I know that I'm basically teaching Michal and Kenna how to ding-dong-ditch.
It's never too young to start!

ReplyDeleteyes we BOO!!!! So fun! Try ding dong ditching during the year for fun by leaving a box of ding dongs with a tag saying you have been ding dong ditched! My 12 year old still loves to do it!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe usually boo. I have to gather some stuff.
ReplyDeleteyour "boo" note is much fancier than the plain old black printer one we usually have taped to the front door!!
ReplyDeleteps- the dough bowl you asked about was given to me by my uncle. they are avid collectors of antiques. i think it's over 100 years old.
thanks for visiting kristi!
We did this last night and my girls had a blast. Thanks for the link to the ghost. My neighbors loved that the ghost was wearing Chuck Taylors.
