Would you please send a card? - Updated

My friend Julie's grandmother is going to be 99 years old next Saturday, January 15th. If you have a moment, and would like to send her a card, she would love it.

Her address is:

Helen Kinder
13 Mabel Drive
Washington, PA 15301

Julie fondly says that she hopes that someday she will be admired by as many people as her grandmother is. Who could hope for anything more than that?

UPDATED: A commenter asked if an explanation would be needed on the card. Great questions! Julie was in my China travel group and is the mom of two beautiful children from China, making Mrs. Kinder the great grandmother of two little ones who were born in China. I know that most of you who read this blog also have a child, or grandchild, from China. I think it would be lovely if you simply noted the connection as the parent of a Chinese child or you can simply say that you are the friend of a friend (that's me!) of her granddaughter Julie.

Thanks again!

  3. That's amazing! I always think it's terrific when people live into their 90's, especially if their health is still good. My father-in-law will be 90 in July... he still own his own home, lives independently, drives safely, gardens and works out at the gym 3 days a week!
