Today six little girls came to our house to decorate gingerbread houses, make ornaments, eat cupcakes, nibble cookies and drink hot chocolate with Michal and Kenna.

It was a candy-filled, mess-making, little girl squealing -- do have you have any idea how loud eight six- and seven-year olds are? -- sugary-fun afternoon.

And the fact that it started snowing at midnight last night, and didn't stop snowing all day today, just added to the Christmas magic of it all!

  8. I first saw my marshmallow snow men in a house that was on a Christmas House Walk. I loved them and searched and searched for them to no avail. I even tracked down the owner of the house on the house walk! More than a year later I walked into a holiday boutique at a charity fashion show and there was the lady who makes them sitting in a booth surrounded by snowmen. I think she thought I was a crazy person when I ran up to her and said, "I've been looking for you for the past year!" She actually lives in the same town as I do. They are my very favorite Christmas decorations. I always let them hang around for awhile after Christmas, even when everything else is put away.

Hi! Came over from "Feathers in my Nest". Love the pictures of your party. I did that one year for my daughter's birthday. This year we are planning to have some friends over for gingerbread houses. Where did you get those adorable aprons? We made those glass ball/paint ornaments last night! Fun!
