The contest answers and winners!

Wow! So many of you got the right answers.

The house we drove by is called Turkey Hill, or Turkey Hill Farm, and it's located in unbelievably-charming Westport, Connecticut. And yes, it belonged to none other than Martha Stewart.

Turkey Hill was Martha's home between 1972 and 2003. It was in the basement of this home that she began her catering business, which lead to the book "Entertaining" and eventually to a magazine, a television show and countless other Martha enterprises.

When she and her then-husband Andy bought the home it was a bit of a mess. It had been a rental for more than 50 years and was in pretty grim disrepair. They spent years restoring it and added an in-ground pool, an outdoor kitchen, a guest house, a chicken coop -- called le Palais Des Poulets! -- stables, an old tobacco barn -- the party barn -- and a greenhouse to the property. Martha also planted extensive gardens and fruit orchards on the grounds and at one time actually owned an additional two-acre piece of property across the street simply so she could have more room to garden.

Interestingly, the house is in a neighborhood -- I always pictured it out in the country -- and it sits right beside many other lovely houses. The name Turkey Hill is the name of the street the house is on and surprisingly Martha's old home is not one of the biggest, or most lavish, homes on Turkey Hill South.

I love these pictures of the kitchen in the house. The first picture is of the remodel that Martha and Andy did themselves. Hmm, I guess Martha's style has evolved a bit over time. I read somewhere that this "countrified" kitchen was on the first cover of Country Living Magazine.

The second picture is after the kitchen was professionally remodeled not too long ago. The last photo is of the outside kitchen, which was used extensively on her television show. There is a third kitchen in the guest house.

Three kitchens. Can you imagine?

I can't tell you how many times I've looked at Turkey Hill in pictures and it was such a kick to see it in person! If only my sure-his-wife-would-be-arrested-for-trespassing husband would have let me out of the car to go peek through the gate . . .

Now on to the winner. It only seems fitting that the prize should be something Martha Stewart. So, the winner will receive their choice of a one year subscription to Martha Stewart Living or a one year subscription to Martha Stewart Everyday Food, which is a great publication if you've never seen it, or the new book "Cupcakes," by Martha Stewart.

And since so many of you figured out the correct answer, I randomly chose not one, but two winners!

Congratulations to Megan and Casey who both answered all three questions correctly. Please e-mail me with your address and choice of prize.
