Kenna

She told me today that the squirrel who was eating yet another of the pumpkins on our front porch, ". . . really needs a squirrel mama!"

She taught herself how to play "Ode to Joy" on the piano.

Her very favorite shoes are her shiny gold ballet flats. I am positive she's going to want to wear them in the snow.

She often wants to show me something and motions with her hand for me to follow her. It cracks me up every time.

She loves when the morning sunlight comes through the dining room window and hits the chandelier and makes little rainbows of light all over the room. She calls it "Magic Land" and always asks me to sit in "Magic Land" with her so we can admire all the little rainbows together.

I can't think of a better way to start the day.

  2. Aww, magic land, I love it.

I cannot believe how tall she's getting. I know she's stretching in these pictures, but my goodness!
