It is no secret that I really like kid's clothing and I especially like handmade or unique things. I recently stumbled across a blog called It's Poppy Dip written by a mom of five -- two of whom were adopted from Ethiopia. The name It's Poppy Dip means "everything is good"... it's an expression that her two-year old loves to say when he's happy and things are good.
Sallee is making dresses to fund their family's third Ethiopian adoption. The dresses are darling, well-made and available in lots of different fun fabrics. Plus, Sallee gets them made so quickly. It's hard to imagine how a busy mom-of-five finds the time to sew let alone sew quickly. I'm impressed.
Now here is the great part . . . Sallee is going to give one lucky ". . . and babies make four" reader a custom-made Poppy Dip dress. You get to choose the fabric and the size (12 months to 7 years).
To enter, simply visit It's Poppy Dip, click on the "Fabrics" link at the top and then come back and leave a comment here telling me what Poppy Dip fabric you're coveting for a dress for your little one or a little one you know. Sallee just added some new fabrics for Fall so if you've already got cooler days on your mind, you're in luck.
Leave your comment here by midnight CST Sunday July 25.
I'll pick one super lucky winner at random and post the winner on Monday, July 26.
Good luck!

Gotta tell you ... your adorable girls and their clothing have inspired way too many outfits in Em's closet! :)
ReplyDeleteBut you have to love clothing with a cause!! Such adorable dresses at such a reasonable price!! I hope folks flock to her site. My favorite is the zippity-zoo-da charcoal / carmel fabric....
But how can you chose just one?
Thanks for the chance to participate in your drawing... It was hard to choose a favorite Poppy Dip fabric (because they were all so cool and unique!) but I think I like Kawaii Asian stripe best.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your blog and I LOVE your photos! Thanks for sharing!
Tina
What precious dresses! And a lovely idea Sallee has to help bring her new little one home!
ReplyDeleteI love the mocca print - so fun!
Thanks Kristi!
Wow--Am I the first one?
ReplyDeleteMartina is in a phase where she only likes to wear pink. And, she LOVES dresses and gets very upset when I make her wear anything else. This style would be perfect for her.
So, I think she'd covet the magenta pink floral dress!
I think my favorite is the owl cream! I have this thing for owls lately!
ReplyDeleteI am alway in love with your girls clothes and outfits. I am definitely going to get this simple, elegant dress too, the krakow blues material is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteJill xx
Sweet!! I'm kinda partial to the Kawaii Asian stripe fabric. Adorable dresses, and I love the store name.
ReplyDeleteLove the giveaways! Would love a mocca dress for my Lily!
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable dresses... I know my little one would love every single fabric, but my eye goes toward the apple flower brown design.
ReplyDeleteThese dresses (and your models) are "Two" cute! I love all the fabrics, but "owl cream" really caught my eye.
ReplyDeleteI've never won ANYTHING; therefore, I'm so happy that the prices of these dresses are extremely reasonable! I will have to order a few for my girls!
Thanks for introducing this site!
Just found your blog. The dresses are darling, as are your little ones. Deco rose dark brown, was my favorite :) What a fun give away.
ReplyDeleteCute stuff. Hard to choose.
ReplyDeleteI choose "feeling groovy orchid/brown"
thanks for the chance to win!
Kind regards from Miami,
Carol and Taylor
Kristi, I don't comment often because all of my comments would be the same, over and over again, along the lines of:
ReplyDelete"WOW! What fun!"
"You're SO talented!"
"What beautiful, beautiful girls!"
I've been following you since you were in China--we were filling out our paperwork at the time. Ah, how the years have flown and are flying...
My fabric choice for the dress (and it was impossible to choose) is "pumpkins gone wild walnut (dk brown) funky flower."
Deco Rose Dark BROWN, would look lovely on my China Princess and her CROWN...I thought rhyming would help :)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the "riley" print. It's pink, Marissa's favorite color, and the pattern looks like intersecting roads...just what our life has been about this year.
