I Heart Faces - Sepia Toned

The I Heart Faces theme this week is "Sepia Toned" and this is the first time I'm entering photos in both the Children and Adult categories.

I took the first photo at Irish Fest a few weeks ago and loved it the minute I saw it on my computer. The man in the photo had this exact same look on his face for the entire 30 or so minutes we watched him play. I found myself wondering more than once what he was thinking.

The second photo is one of my favorites of Michal. I'd actually never thought of converting it to sepia until now but I think the kind of "dreamy" feel of the photo comes out without any color.

You can click on the photos to go to Flickr and see them larger. The photo of Michal is kind of fun to see bigger because you can see me fairly clearly reflected in her eyes.

You can see lots of great photos, or enter a photo you've taken, at www.iheartfaces.com!

  1. Gorgeous photos! LOVE the accordian player...my submission for the adult category was also taken at an Irish festival. Your little girl is absolutely beautiful.

  2. Congrats on your recent wins and on being included in the photo book. It's fun to have such charming, little subjects around, eh? Thanks also for the cousin surprise birthday. Very sweet. The kids had a great time together.

  3. Really pretty! Your photos always inspire me!

Amazing photos, as always. I love the photo of Michal and that "dreamy," ethereal feeling.

I too was so excited to have one photo for each catagory this week, except I have the opposite problem. I have tons of adult photos but no kiddies!

Beautiful job! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the photo of your daughter. I love taking photos of kids from a bit of a higher angle... I did that with the picture I submitted too! Great job!

  6. These are fantastic photos! I would definitely say these are "money shots"-your daughter is gorgeous.

  7. I love that first entry! And gorgeous entry of your daughter!
