Michal and Kenna marched in our local St. Patrick's Day Parade today. (Kenna later asked me why I said they got to march in the parade when they didn't march but instead just walked . . .)
We happen to live in a town where St. Patrick's Day is celebrated with a good deal of enthusiasm. The parade for the occasion is a mix of green-clad community groups, bands, political candidates, Irish dancers, bag pipe players, Shriners on horseback and all sorts of emergency vehicles.
Kenna took her parade duties particularly seriously and literally did not stop waving the entire parade. At one point she decided to walk in front of the group's banner and wave with both hands. She later told me that was her favorite part of the day -- when she got to lead the parade.

How fun! Happy St. Patty's Day!
