The Magic (oh-so-crowded) Kingdom

IMG_0624

We started our day with a bus ride to the Magic Kingdom. The girls think the bus at Disney is a real ride. They can't believe they're allowed to ride on it without a seatbelt and they love that the driver gives them official Disney Bus trading cards. And it's a good thing they think it's a ride and not just transportation because the Magic Kingdom was so incredibly crowded that it was one of the only "rides" they got to go on today.

Even with the lines though, it was a great day. We saw parades. We rode the carousel and the monorail -- it too is a ride and not transportation -- and just enjoyed being there. Eric and I both laughed that Michal and Kenna are going to be so surprised when someday they figure out that Disney actually does have lots of real rides.

And then at dinner, I literally burst out laughing when Kenna arranged the salt and pepper shakers and announced that she'd made a Minnie Mouse. That's my Disney girl!

  2. Love the mouse ears condiment shakers;) Your photos are so stunning. Last time we went to Disney I did not have a great camera. I will be fun to capture the moments with a better camera this time.
