Congratulations doesn't even begin to cover it . . . neither does thank you.

Today Eric completed the Executive MBA Program at Northwestern University. For the past 24 months he's spent every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday living at Northwestern to participate in this program -- all while continuing to hold down his full-time job and be an amazing husband and father. I am beyond impressed with the way he has juggled everything plus, what he would never tell you, is that this in the top-rated Executive MBA Program in the country -- according to Business Week and the other folks who rate those sorts of things -- and people literally come from around the world to have the opportunity to participate in this program. Getting in the program isn't easy and once you do get in the workload is rigorous and the expectations are high.

In a couple weeks he'll don a cap and gown and march down an aisle to "Pomp and Circumstance." And with that two years of hard work will come to an end.

I am incredibly proud of you Eric. Congratulations!

P.S. First thing in the morning I leave for California and then on to Hawaii with my friend Cara and her daughter, Raegan! This is my graduation present from Eric and our 13th birthday present for Raegan. Eric has taken the week off of work and is spending it with the girls so I can enjoy this trip.

This will only be the second time I've ever been away from the girls for more than a few hours. I know they're in great hands though and I am just incredibly grateful for the opportunity to make this trip.
