A lot like herding cats.

Have you ever tried to take a group picture of 11 two-and-a-half and three-year olds? I'm here to tell you that it's what I imagine herding cats would be like -- nearly impossible!

They're all sitting on the lawn. Oh, they're not all sitting on the lawn. Now they're standing. No, they're sitting. One is crying. No, make that two are crying. One has left to go stand with her mom. One is sitting but only if her mom stays too. One of mine has decided that she can't possibly leave the jumpy carousel and is refusing to come to the front yard. OK, now that she's here she's doing her best to sneak back to the jumpy carousel. One is leaping. One is hopping. One is running away. One is coming back. They're pulling up handfuls of grass and throwing it in the air. Why haven't I learned how to use Photoshop?

Oh well. This is what two-and-a-half and three looks like. The pictures make me laugh. And when the girls are five or six or seven, they'll probably sit nicely in a row and smile. And if not, I'll find a red couch and sit it on the lawn.
