This morning Kenna walked in to the kitchen, stood on her toes, held her hands slightly away from her body and said, in a somewhat dismayed tone, "I can't fly."
So I responded with absolutely sincerity, "No honey, you can't. Little girls can't fly. Only birds and butterflies can fly."
To which she responded, "And rocket ships."
I had to bite my lip to stop from laughing, which just didn't seem appropriate given how serious she was about the whole thing.
She is so incredibly sweet . . . and very, very funny.
Who's who tip: Kenna has a pink bow in her hair and Michal has a lavendar one.
