Good Friday

Today we went to Cantigny Park. It was an absolutely beautiful day and the girls loved being outside running around.

Cantigny Park includes several museums, golf courses and extensive gardens. In the center of the park is a historic house that was the country home of Robert McCormick, who was the founder of the Chicago Triubne. When he died in 1955, he asked that his 500-acre estate be used “… for the recreation, instruction and welfare of the people of the State of Illinois.”

My little Illinois girls enjoyed it a lot!
